Big Buddies Pizza Putt Event!!!! We will be meeting in front of the Davis Center at 2pm Sunday the 6th. Mini golf, pizza and games!

The 19th Annual Hunger Banquet will be held at the King Street Youth Center on April 13.  Tickets cost $5.  We need volunteers all day to setup, cook, and clean.  Free meal for all who volunteer!

Big Buddies will be having an Ice Cream Social on Sunday, March 23rd from 2pm - 4 pm in the Marsh Lounge of Billings!  There will be lots of ice cream and toppings for you and your buddy to make your own sundaes. We will also bring a bunch of games for all of us to play. Please email me (epetow@uvm.edu) to let me know if you and your buddy will be able to attend. RSVP by Wednesday, March 19th!

Big Buddies is having a bowling party on Saturday, February 2nd. All big and little buddies are welcome. We will meet in the circle in front of the Davis Center at 2pm, to head to Yankee Lanes in Colchester. Little buddies will be free and the price of the big buddies is TBA (but will be no more than $7). We’re looking for drivers. Please email us if you haven’t let us know you’re going or if you can’t come anymore. Also, let us know if you can drive. See you there!

There will be a meeting for all Big Buddies volunteers at 7:30 pm in Lafayette 411on Tuesday, January 22nd.  This is a really important meeting, in which we will talk about our upcoming BOWLING PARTY and hand out Mobius cards! Make sure you attend!

First I would like to thank Heather Lutton for an incredible job with her work towards getting the VIA ESL program off the ground this fall.  Unfortunately, she will be leaving us for the spring semester as she will be volunteering her time elsewhere.  I am looking for a co coordinator for spring ‘08, preferably someone willing to continue the program into next year.  I will have a brief application available within a week of our spring return (located in the ESL plastic box, SGA offices Davis Center 311N, box outside the office) and I would like to meet with those interested individually to chat and talk about your goals and interests.  Thanks.
