LCSG is partnering with the University of Vermont's Redesigning the American Neighborhood (RAN) project, funded by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. The RAN project seeks to plan the modification of an existing subdivision of over 5000 residents in South Burlington, VT to reduce flooding and stormwater related water quality problems using ecological design principles. LCSG supports Smart Growth education for residents and facilitates public participation in the planning the redesign.
