MANAGEMENT
The Lake Champlain Sea Grant management team consists of the Sea Grant director, executive director, and Extension leader. A twelve-member Sea Grant Board advises the director in overall planning and coordination of LCSG activities. Sea Grant Extension Specialists have both administrative and specialist roles. An extension and education specialist based at the University of Vermont, and a second extension specialist and a half time education specialist at Plattsburgh State University in New York--make up the LCSG staff.
We depend on public input to help establish our priorities. This input comes from two sources: our Program Advisory Committee (PAC) and extensive networking with stakeholders within the basin. Our 12 PAC members come from New York and Vermont lake-oriented businesses, agriculture, watershed organizations, state and federal government, and environmental education.
