Plant of the Month: Pulmonaria saccharata 'Dora Bieleveld', Lungwort

family: Borage, Boraginaceae

flowers: pink fading blue at end, early spring

hardiness: USDA zones 4-8

interest: *one of first perennials to bloom in spring, often first lungwort, often before leaves
*sun in north to part shade
*broad medium to light green leaves, emerging lighter, with good white spotting
*one of best of new introductions
