Act as a resource for recruiting
departments for questions regarding the recruitment
process, interviewing, reference checks, assisting
individuals with disabilities, etc.
Screen applications/resumes based on the hiring department's needs.
Respond to routine applicant inquiries regarding
job opportunities
and employment at the University.
Serve as a resource to applicants
for assistance in writing resumes, cover letters
and preparing for interviews.
Discuss and confirm job posting details with hiring supervisors.
Provide advertising assistance in writing and placing advertisements in
local, regional and national publications and newspapers and internet job
sites.
Act as liaison to community organizations and represent the University
at community meetings and functions.
Act as liaison for temporary employment needs.
Update and maintain the "job hotline."
Update and maintain job opportunities on the web.
Access computerized applicant and position data to provide current information
to internal and external customers.
Provide training workshops for hiring supervisors and internal applicants.
