For the past 20 years I have worked at the University of Vermont in the Office of Health Promotion Research . Our department is almost entirely research funded and investigates methods of behavior change that enhance people's health. The major areas of our work include: smoking prevention and cessation, diabetes prevention, AIDS prevention and youth drug and alcohol use prevention. My job is to write budget justifications for new grant proposals and manage awarded grants. I've made many friends at Health Promotion Research and UVM.
