Primers used to amplify and sequence Polystichum sequences in the Barrington Lab, University of Vermont

 

            All of the cpDNA sequences listed here routinely yield good data and are variable and useful.   We found Leafy to have insufficient variability, and ITS to be too fussy  to get sequences from routinely so far.   PGI looks very promising at this writing (September 2005).
