Is there a simple way to find out who is charging my budget?

Yes!

We will use an example of a charge that appeared on screen V23 (the I6PU23 batch).

A simple way to find out who is charging your budget, is to type in the budget number that offsets your charge, and look at what the account title says.

If you need a description of the sub code; type it in.

Certain departments can not do this because of security reasons, if that is the case with your department; you can attain more information about their budget, by going to the P06 screen and typing their budget number in, and hitting enter.  That is a non security based screen.
