What screen displays the fiscal year that I am working in?
The FIN screen displays this for you in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
It is a good habit to check what fiscal year you are working in, by looking at the FIN screen's fiscal year when you sign in to the FRS system especially starting in June.
Our accounting fiscal year is from July 1st until June 30th of the next year.
Our fiscal year end closing starts in June, and may continue for 3 months, so it is a good habit to check the fiscal year you are working in, for those months.
We keep the old fiscal year up through mid July to ensure that all of the invoices and interdepartmental charges are paid under the correct year.
Several of the menu screens also display the fiscal year in the upper right of the screen.
