One of my long-lasting hobbies is reading comic books. I see comics as a very flexible genre that can either provide simple smash-em up stories or very high quality literature. I'm particularly interested in the mainstream stories coming out of Marvel and DC Comics, as they represent characters that have been around so long that they are a part of America's collective psyche.
