Students started the 2003 season with a goal to maintain their vegetable donations, buy hoop house, maintain a farm stand on campus, and create club tee-shirts and delivery bags. Tobiah Schulman (PSS) was democratically elected as the Farm Manager. Drew Evans (PSS), Carol Tudhope (MMG), Matt Silverman (CAS) were full-time farm workers. Ira Marvin (SD), Anja Jokela (PSS), and Anne McCully (CAS) were part-time farm workers. David Heleba advised the club over the summer. Yarrow Collins (PSS) volunteered as well. There were one share options: $180 for 12 weeks. There was one pick-your-own day. Students sold 36 shares.
This year student did a great job with donations from the farm acreage, and working with researchers at the farm by trading labor for crops to donate. The Chittenden Emergence Food Self recieved 8490 pounds of food. Students maintained a great vegetable stand on campus in front of Bailey-Howe. Tee-shirts and bags were made and distributed. Congratulations to our student farmers for all there efforts
