Step 4. Observe whether the identified students possess any of the characteristics that pertain to the disability you are exploring.

a) Do the students with disabilities with whom you work have more or less in common with their non-disabled peers? (Record your observations).

b) What implications does this have for instruction and social/recreationalactivities for students with disabilities?

Step 6. Discuss your reflections with your teacher or special educator to decide what actionsyou might take to utilize this information you have collected to benefit the students.
