Movie: Shane Everyone remembers the kid forlornly calling “Shane…come back…Shane…” but seeing this groundbreaking 1953 film on a big screen again is a revelation. A mysterious reformed gunslinger arrives on a small ranch in the Tetons where he is pulled into a conflict between the local ranchers and farmers. Can Shane put his violent past behind him and settle into a life as a farm hand and decent man? Or is his dangerous past too hard to let go of?
