Protect Your Workbooks With a Password
- Click the Tools | Options.
- In the Options dialog box, click the Security tab.
- Type your password in the field to the right of Password To Open. (The password is case sensitive!).
- If you click the Advanced button, you can choose from a number of different encryption methods, making your password harder to break. Click OK to set the password.
