Preview of Lab Next Two Weeks:
1. Power Point Presentation (questions?). Everyone should be giving their presentations in lab next week. Try out your presentation on the computer in the lab BEFORE your lab and give yourself time to fix it if needed! The labs have MS Office 2010, so older versions PowerPoint Presentation should work, or convert the file with zamzar.com. If you are sick or have an accident and have to miss lab, notify your lab instructor BEFORE LAB or you will earn no credit (zero) if you are absent.
2. Zoo cluster & WinSCP. Draw the connection between PC and zoo. Learn how to save things on the zoo file server and upload and download these files with WinSCP. Download and install WinSCP on your own PC, or Fetch or Fugu on Macs. Capture screen and windows/sections in screen. In Mac, google search "screen capture in Mac".
