For 10 years or more my biggest
wish was to lose the weight I desired and stay
that way....easily. Other areas
I had created what I had wanted, but with
this, I was stuck. It was a constant
struggle in my life.
These are the steps that I took to achieve my desire:
1. I got to my core
belief on why I believed I could not lose the weight I
desire. That belief was "I have
a slow mytabolism". I changed it to the new
belief/affirmation "I have a
super fast mytabolism and my body burns off
everything I eat into pure health
and energy" I loved saying that!
2. I also affirmed
often "It is easy to lose weight and hard to gain." since
I saw I had believed the opposite.
3. I created in my
mind a simple picture of myself in a swimsuit surrounded
by golden light. I refused to
look at what "was" and instead each time the old
image or belief would come up
(after eating, looking in a mirror, etc) I held
my new image as I would say my
affimation.
4. I decided to trust
myself completely with food (which was the first time
since childhood). I would eat
conscoiusly, when I was hungry and stop when I
had enough, knowing I could have
more when I was hungry again. I found myself
switching to smaller meals more
often.
5. No guilt was allowed
no matter what. If my body craved it, I affirmed it
was good for it and making me
more healthy and beautiful. Without guilt and
conflicts I enjoyed all food
and smaller amounts satisfied me.
6. I would only
compliment myself and see myself as I choose to be, thinking
on other enjoyable things the
rest of the time.
7. I switched my focus
to love and appreciation of what I did want (my ideal
weight) from hating and fearing
what I did not want (gaining weight, fat).
Within a few weeks I had
lost 15 lbs. Every day I appreciate my health and my
body being able to take care
of its self. The last 10 years, ever since I lost
the weight I wanted, my weight
has not been an issue. I naturally expect and
picture what I desire.
